"A Jewish tragedy in the waterworks of Strijen"
The Second World War brought
a sudden end to the pre-war jewish community of Strijen.
The memories are being kept alive by the efforts of the local
historical society 'Het Land van Strijen' (The Land of Strijen).
The jewish cementary along the Oud-Boneventurasedijk also reminds us of
'better' times.
